Hi, I'm Jodie
Welcome to Bouquet Residence!
Many years ago, I found myself attending creative workshops and signing up for short courses – interior design, pottery, watercolour painting, art journalling – thirsty for a creative break from my corporate career and searching for a passion.
Then I found floristry.
I have always been fascinated by the beautiful, natural complexity of flowers – yet how they bring such simple pleasure to our lives. Their fleeting beauty makes me stop and study them, appreciating their effortless intricacies, before they retreat, ready for the next season.
I love that flowers can say so much – “I love you”, “I’m thinking of you”, “Let’s celebrate”, “Thank you”, “I’m sorry for your loss”. They can bring energy and fun to a room, or create the final touch for a peaceful ambience.
My love for flowers has grown into a love for creating for people; seeing the smile on their faces when I deliver their bouquet or showing them their ceremony flowers has become addictive.
I am careful and selective in the projects I take on, because I want to dedicate time to each and every detail and take the pressure off of you, so that you can enjoy your planning experience rather than stressing over the details.
If you’d like to partner with me for your special occasion, I’d love to hear from you.
xx Jodie
